This role represents an opportunity to take commercial ownership of a major live project while working within a high-performing commercial team. You’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the cost and contract management process, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring best commercial practices are delivered throughout the project lifecycle.

Managing Quantity Surveyor duties include:

  • Develop Forecasts and CVR’s to be presented to the board
  • Managing subcontractor packages, valuations, and final accounts
  • Supporting project risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Reporting to the Commercial Director and engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Mentoring and developing Quantity Surveyors within the team

The ideal candidate must have:

  • A proven track record on civils projects as a Managing Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS ready to step up
  • Strong knowledge of NEC contracts
  • A degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
