We're supporting a heavy civils and marine infrastructure contractor through a period of growth to recruit a Resource Manager. The contractor works across the South East and is expanding into the South West delivering projects between £5m - £25m as well as being part of major JV projects upwards of £200m. They've seen year on year growth over the last 3 years and are set for another record breaking year in 2026.

The Resource Manager will work with the Regional Managers and preconstruction teams to oversee, plan and advise on the technical staffing requirements for live and upcoming projects. The role will be a hybrid position between Head Office and visiting site teams. The role is suited to a Senior Agent or Works Manager/Senior GF who is looking to move away from the day to day running of projects and support the wider business. It is essential you come from a site background, either progressing through site management or a general foreman/works manager position.

Responsibilities:

  • Input into weekly resource meeting with senior leadership team.
  • Build and manage teams, motivating people and supporting their development.
  • Use technical background to highlight resource peaks and challenges.
  • Build relationships with and manage labour suppliers.
  • Move internal staff to maximise output on each project.
