An established civil engineering contractor is recruiting a Site Manager for an upcoming 12 month project in Hampshire. They are a secure business who offer a variety of projects, career progression and a professional environment. The main scope of works will include construction of reinforced concrete bases, deep drainage and pipework, steel work and bolts, footways and minor external works. The project will be delivered by direct workforce and specialist subcontractors. This project is on a live water treatment works closing off AMP7 projects. Following this project there is a secure workload on AMP8 across Southern Water.
Site Manager Duties:
- Day to day management of work, supporting the site team and subcontractors
- Support a visiting PM to ensure project is meeting overall quality and environmental specifications
- Attending weekly programme meetings and implementing any change to the project
- Ensuring all RAMS are being adhered to, daily briefings and inductions are being carried out and permits are in place
- Attend stakeholder engagement meetings and liaise with the client for progress and change
