We’re working with an outstanding Sussex based contractor to recruit a Site Engineer for a portfolio of marine civil engineering projects. The business has an esteemed history in marine projects across the South Coast and M23 Corridor into South London protecting rivers and shorelines, enhancing our ports, sea defences and marine infrastructure. They’re also working within the water industry to future-proof our water supply for generations to come.
As a Site Engineer you’ll join an established team and get stuck into some heavy civils constructing river and sea walls, deep sheet piling, upgrading critical defence infrastructure, jetties and weirs. There is a clear run of work into 2027. There is clear progression through engineering into management, or chosen path, into technically focused roles in planning, design or as a Managing Engineer.
Site Engineer duties:
- Setting out and surveying (Total Station & GPS)
- Produce as built drawings in AutoCAD
- Quality control throughout construction process and ITP check sheets
- Problem solving design changes, material changes.
