Who are Run for Charity? Over the past decade, Run for Charity has become the largest platform and preferred route for charities in the UK to fill places in mass participation events. We reduce the risks and costs associated with challenge events, as well as create opportunities for our members to raise as much money as possible. Having built up a huge membership base, we now work with more charities, fill more places and raise more money than anyone else in the sector.
What do the team do? The Account Management department are the first port of call for all of our charity members and have overall responsibility for managing, supporting and encouraging the success of the Run for Charity membership for charities of all sizes throughout the UK. The department provides high-quality, thorough and engaging support to ensure we are doing everything we can to deliver for our clients. The team leverages the strength of its reputation and values to provide support and guidance to the highest possible standard. The success of members is what drives us, and is paramount in everything that we do.
What are we looking for? We are seeking an ambitious and motivated individual with a passion for client satisfaction to join a rapidly growing company. You will play a key part in supporting our charity partners across hundreds of challenge events all over the UK. As an Account Executive you will be the key link between our company and our charity members. Your role will be to support the Account Management team to ensure our partners receive exceptional service and maximise their fundraising. You will be responsible for managing relationships with existing clients alongside the Account Management team and working closely with all departments to ensure we are managing our partnerships to a high standard. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, feel comfortable conducting meetings on their own, possess excellent communication skills and have fantastic attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for a portfolio of charity accounts. As the main point of contact for those charity members, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing positive relationships and assisting our members wherever possible
- Providing regular support and advice to each charity to maximise their fundraising
- Booking and leading on regular video conferences to provide strategic advice and sector updates/trends
- Creating resources and technical support to our members via our in-house CRM
- Ensuring all clients are well looked after and know the current status of each and every account
- Providing feedback and suggestions to the team on how we can improve our ever-evolving offering
- Work closely with the wider partnerships team to support the teams overall aims and objectives
- Supporting the wider team of account managers where necessary
Salary is £27,000 to £30,000 per annum.
