Job Description
Job title: Senior Engineer – Site Safety Case (Human Factors)
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: As soon as possible subject to clearance
Salary Range: Competitive rate
Benefits Package: 26 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, Pension Scheme – 6-8% Matched, Flexible start & Finish times.
Location: Barrow-In-Furness
Hybrid Working- 1 Week/5 Days On Site Per Month
Hours of work: 37 Hours Per Week
Role & Responsibilities:
• Providing a Human Factors Intelligent Customer role within the Safety Case Team
• Undertaking Human Factors assessments
• Assessing the probability of human errors and providing Human Factors advice
• Representing the Safety Case Team in discussions with the wider business
• Providing an interface between the Safety Case and Human Factors Teams
• Supporting Safety Case delivery
• Contribute to Stakeholder Review of relevant documentation
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders as required by their scope of work
Qualifications/Experience Required:
• Degree in Human Factors or equivalent experience
• Demonstrable Human Factors experience
• Experience with writing assessment Human Factors reports and contributing to safety cases
• High hazard area industry experience
• Ideally candidates should have human error assessment experience
• Ideally candidates should be a chartered Engineer or working towards this
UK National Security Vetting Status – Candidates must be able to obtain UKSV SC Clearance.
