Job title: Project Controls Assistant
Job Type: Contract – 12 month
Start date: Subject to clearance
Location: Whitehaven
Rate: £20 per hour PAYE + 33 days paid leave
Hours of work: 20 hours per week (Part time)
Role information:
* Support to the business unit and various departments, to complete tasks set by the Commercial Manager/Department
* Active involvement in improvement initiatives to improve the systems in the working area utilising best practice
* Organisation of own work with limited reference upwards
* Where applicable, anticipate and deal with arising issues according to procedures to satisfactory completion
* To contribute to the improvement of a safe environment/general housekeeping of the working area, particularly in their own area of responsibility.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
* Financial Qualification or Considerable experience working within a Finance environment
* Working within the Nuclear Industry.
* 2-5 years experience
* Excellent organisational skills and verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work within a team and on own initiative
* Computer literate with experience using software packages e.g. word, excel, outlook etc
* Ability to produce accurate and appropriate information in a timely manner.
