Job Title: Mechanical Crafts Person

Pay Rate: £21.78 per hour PAYE / 33.5 days annual leave
Location: Preston
Hybrid/Remote Working: Fully on site
Hours of Work: 8:00am-16:00pm Monday-Friday
Role Information:
– Responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems
– Working on a major rebuild of a walking beam sintering furnace within a highly regulated facility
– Work closely with a multi-disciplined team to ensure safe and efficient completion of all mechanical tasks within project timeline and budget
– Adhere to strict health and safety regulations
Qualifications/Experience Required:
– Experience in industrial mechanical maintenance
– Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
– Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings/blueprints
– Knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques
– Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and equally well as part of a team
– Qualification in a relevant field
UK National Security Vetting Status: Candidates must be able to obtain SC clearance
