Role & Responsibilities:
- Driving the delivery of the contract or package activities to ensure they are delivered safely on time, to budget, meeting business & technical requirements.
- Developing and implementing strategies and plans in line with the overall programme execution plan, setting out how the programme of work will be managed, organised, and executed.
- Maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders and executing the project or PEP strategies within their contract or package of work.
- Monitoring and managing the progress of the programme.
- Tracking progress against milestones, deadlines, budget, and providing key stakeholders with reports on these matters.
- Forecasting, anticipating, managing, and resolving issues within the contract or package.
- Identifying risks and facilitating the resolution of all issues raised, developing, and updating the programme budget, and escalating any issues to the Delivery Manager.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- Educated to HNC or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or other relevant Engineering discipline.
- Professional Qualification in Project Management such as APM PMQ, Prince2 7 Practitioner, or other recognised qualification.
- Proven track record of Project Management capability within large-scale and complex projects, ideally in regulated sectors and preferably within the Nuclear environment.
- All candidates must have at least 10 years' work experience.
- UK National Security Vetting Status - BPSS Clearance.
