Job Title: Solar PV Roofer\\nLocation: Northampton, North west\\nContract Type: Permanent\\nSalary: £37,000 – £38,000 + Benefits\\n\\nAbout the Role\\nWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar PV Roofer to join our team, delivering high-quality solar photovoltaic installations to residential and SME customers. This role focuses on safety, efficiency, and exceptional customer service, contributing to the wider goals of sustainable energy solutions.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n* Transport equipment to and from installation sites, including waste disposal.\\n* Arrive punctually at customer locations and maintain communication regarding any schedule changes.\\n* Conduct pre-work checks and contribute to risk assessments.\\n* Remove and adapt roof tiles to accommodate solar panel systems.\\n* Measure and install mounting rails and solar panels safely and accurately.\\n* Assist electricians by fitting conduit and routing cables from roof to ground level.\\n* Ensure the site is clean and tidy post-installation.\\n* Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are safe and in good condition.\\n* Follow all health and safety protocols and report any incidents or hazards.\\n* Assess scaffold safety and report any concerns.\\n\\nRole Requirements\\n* Home-based with regular travel within a 90-minute radius.\\n* Flexibility to travel further when required.\\n* Strong customer focus and ability to work collaboratively.\\n* Quick decision-making with a strong emphasis on safety.\\n\\nQualifications & Experience\\nEssential:\\n* In-depth knowledge of residential roofing materials and construction.\\n* Experience with solar roof-integrated systems.\\n* Hands-on experience with domestic solar PV installations.\\n* Valid safety certifications (e.g., Working at Height, ladder safety, asbestos awareness).\\n* Familiarity with SHEQ practices in the solar industry.\\n* Comfortable working at height and using ladders.\\n* Full UK Driving Licence (max 6 points).\\nDesirable:\\n* Asbestos Awareness certification.\\n* Understanding of DC cabling and panel testing.\\n* QCF-aligned Solar PV or roofing qualification.\\n\\nWhat We Offer\\n* Competitive salary and benefits package.\\n* Electrical Awareness training.\\n* Opportunities for professional development in a growing sector.MWARREN\\n\\nRullion celebrates and supports diversity and is committed to ensuring equal opportunities for both employees and applicants
