The level 5 schedule also reflects interfaces with other tier 1 partners to ensure they are fully integrated.\\n\\nThe MEH Deputy Lead Planner is part of the MEH Programme, working with the PDO planning team, Delivery Integration and the Area Management teams.\\n\\nPrincipal Accountabilities\\n\\nThe development, integrations, design, testing & commissioning of detailed construction schedules within the MEH phase\\nConsidering all aspects of integrated mechanical, electrical and HVAC (MEH) planning for works on the Hinkley Point C project. This will involve conducting integrated schedule reviews to develop detailed, optimised construction delivery sequences and resource loaded schedules.\\nIntegration of construction works activities with all HPC programmes within the MEH schedules to optimise the planning process.

The role will be instrumental in addressing interfaces at. The detailed construction schedules support the overall project integrated works schedule (IWS) and the 16-week look ahead process to un-constrain work and deliver schedule adherence.\\nThe management and update of the schedule data within the planning and production control toolsets\\nSupport for the performance optimisation / influence of the 4D capability on the performance of Safety, Quality, Cost, Time & Risk across the life-cycle delivery of the MEH scope of Work\\nEnsure that MEH installation schedule is supported by the relevant digital tool sets and data to ensure that its performance always meets the needs of the delivery of the MEH Scope of Work\\nEnsuring that MEH Programme construction schedules are produced, managed, and maintained in accordance with the planning procedures and contract requirements.\\nReporting of site progress using various methods, and ensuring the construction are informed of relevant schedule data. \\n\\nKey Deliverables:\\n\\nAdvocating safe and effective planning of works for site construction.\\nEnsuring that conventional and nuclear safety considerations are recognised as essential to the success of the project and built into the planning processes.\\nDeveloping detailed plans to a facility and/or area basis which integrate, co-ordinate and sequence work activities to achieve the optimum construction sequence paying particular attention to contractor interfaces at site within the 16 -week horizon.\\nCommunicate schedule resource requirements, durations, and associated quantity information to the construction leads\\nSupport the project periodic look ahead process with the rolling extract of an integrated schedule\\nIdentifying planning scope, major constraints, and contract requirements\\nIdentifying quantities and factors affecting the programme\\nEstablishing and agreeing with Delivery construction outputs and agree working hours\\nDevelop resource, material, and quantities profiles from the level 5 schedule to support delivery readiness, particularly bulk MEH material and equipment delivery needs\\nDevelop schedule metrics and reporting to allow measurement of schedule adherence and planned/actual schedule performance.\\nWork with the 4D team to develop animated schedule sequences and enhance the 4D tools and capability on the project, particularly for construction coordination purposes.\\nWork with the construction teams and the PDO to develop visual management capabilities for deployment in the field by the construction and contract partner teams\\nEncouraging the development of HPC lessons learned to support future project execution.

\\n\\nEssential Knowledge, Skills \\n\\nThe Construction Planner will have knowledge of Engineering, Procurement and Construction process and the integration of these activities. Specific knowledge, skills, qualification, and experience include:\\n\\nIn-depth knowledge and experience of programme progress and forecast position and planning.\\nStrong communication skills\\nAn understanding of various methods of planning, programming and progress monitoring\\nAn understanding of the construction market, methods of construction, plant, equipment and labour requirements\\nA basic understanding of estimating principles \\n\\nEssential Qualifications, Experience\\n\\nExperience in delivering highly complex projects in regulated environments\\nStrong communication skills in English required, knowledge of French can be an advantage.\\nIndustrial experience in MEH delivery\\n \\n Desirable\\n\\n4D and 5D planning experience\\nNuclear construction background.\\nA construction trade or OND/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Equivalent in Construction Management or related subject is desirable, as is Professional membership of one or more of the following:\\n RICS/CIOB/RIBA/ICE/CIBSE, or a demonstrable level of experience based on previous project assignments. \\n\\nThis contract vacancy is being advertised by Rullion Ltd\\n\\nRullion celebrates and supports diversity and is committed to ensuring equal opportunities for both employees and applicants
