We\’re on the lookout for Permanent Commissioning Engineers to join my clients\’ forward-thinking team – individuals who are ready to make a tangible impact on the journey to net zero

Role will be split between working in their workshops in Staffordshire and Cheshire, and on customer sites across the UK. As an example, successful Engineers may be in solely in the workshop for a few months and then completely on site for months across the UK, or it could be a mixture of both, it depends on the work. You may therefore be required to potentially be away 5 days a week every week, but then also be able to commute to the Staffordshire/Cheshire offices for potentially extended periods of time aswell.
The Role:
Undertake system commissioning/calibations on client sites, addressing any concerns arising from the commissioning process.
Test communications and conduct end to end testing.
Communicate and provide technical support to the client to address customer specific issues.
Provide technical support to Installation Technicians and Service Engineers to address in-house issues, deploying all forms of communication.
Provide commissioning advice to Design Engineers in the development of the commissioning strategy and plan.
Compile all reports / documentation and dispatch in a timely manner as directed by the Service & Technical Support Manager.
We\’re Looking For:
– 5+ years of commissioning experience with 2 years of working independently
– Gas instrumentation technical background
– A strong background in electrical/electronic engineering (HNC/HND)
– Knowledge of PLCs, pressure systems, and system fault-finding
– Ability to understand and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, able to advise clients on the drawings and specifications
– Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points for insurance purposes
