Purpose: We're looking for a Reconciliation Senior Adviser to join our finance team at the Co-op. In this role, you will be responsible for performing accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring supplier accounts are regularly reconciled against their statements. You'll work closely with the Reconciliation Lead to meet priorities and deadlines while maintaining up-to-date balances with suppliers. Key Responsibilities: Perform monthly reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving outstanding queries in a timely manner. Collaborate with suppliers to keep balances up to date, working with other teams where needed to resolve any issues. Ensure all journals are processed correctly, following Co-op's agreed processes and guidelines. Regularly review and resolve issues identified in duplicate reports, understanding the root causes. Manage payment blocks on SAP, ensuring timely resolution to avoid delays.
