Rolling Stock Production Scheduler 6 month initial contract (potential to be extended or taken perm) Goole 40 hours per week £15.38 per hour PAYE / 19.15 per hour Umbrella Responsible for the creation and ongoing updating of detailed production schedules for an assembly line based on project requirements. Controls and monitors production to ensure a smooth throughput of the production orders, taking into account the optimum use of the resources. Principal Accountabilities Creation of production schedules based on the overall project schedule Controls the production sequences, in order to reach an optimum use of the resources with effective resource planning Track progress of production orders Implementation of measurement criteria and control Records or monitors workflow (completion reports), in order to map the current production status Target/actual comparison of the dates based on the actual reports Detection of schedule deviations Development of schedule control measures Works on coordinating material movements between production units, to ensure an optimum production run. Knowledge & Experience Extensive experience of assembly line scheduling Experience of resource planning Competent in all Microsoft tools such as SAP, MS Project and Primavera competence.
