IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Start date: Subject to clearance

Duration: 12 Month Rolling Contract

Pay rate: £45-55 per hour (depending on experience)

Location: Preston, Lancashire

Hybrid/Remote Working: Hybrid

Hours of work: 37-40 Hours Per Week

Role information:

  • Experience of working within multidiscipline teams engaged in mechanical engineering design activities associated with the modification of existing/new chemical process plants or material handling equipment.
  • Producing and working to design Governance documentation/procedures, such as Design Quality Plans, Design Risk Assessments, Design Reviews, etc.
  • Suitably qualified and experienced (HNC/degree) in producing Mechanical designs in a Design Office environment.
  • Experience with design software tools such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience in the responsibilities placed on Designers under the CDM Regulations 2015.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

  • Experience of producing designs for chemical plant environments including associated mechanical services.
  • Experience of producing designs for nuclear facilities.
  • Experience of piping and vessel design.
