9-day working pattern:

  • 5-day week: Mon 8.25, Tues 8.25, Wed 8.25, Thur 8.25, Fri 8
  • 4-day week: Mon 8.25, Tues 8.25, Wed 8.25, Thur 8.25, Fri 0

Hours of work: Up to 40 Hours Per Week

Role information:

  • Monitoring the project deliverables meet with the agreed standards and satisfy stakeholder requirements at each stage of the project.
  • Support and develop the successful delivery of projects using key project management principles, including risk management, change management, schedule management and quality whilst always maintaining a focus on safety.
  • Overseeing H&S forums and implementing H&S initiatives, ensuring safety is at the forefront of the construction phase.
  • Co-ordinating resources to achieve successful delivery, ensuring quality of work is maintained and balanced against the Client's own requirements.
  • Identify and document specific actions including establishing milestones to be performed to produce the project deliverables.
  • Review plans with architects, surveyors, and engineers.
  • Management of on-site logistics.
  • Maintaining and developing excellent Stakeholder and Alliance relationships.
  • Support the development of more junior staff through technical training and mentoring.
  • Feed into project programmes, design reviews and contract scope documents.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

  • OND, HND, Degree or equivalent
  • Membership of a recognised construction-related professional body.
  • Extensive experience of working in a nuclear environment.
  • Ability to act on own initiative and operate in a proactive way.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and integrate into multi-disciplinary teams or work independently.
  • Site Construction experience.
  • Authoring of operating procedures.
  • Ability to assess and resolve site planning and coordination issues.
  • Apply risk assessment and management principles and processes.
  • Network effectively, negotiate well and influence people, broker relationships with stakeholders within and outside the project.
