We are currently recruiting up to 10 Mechanical Fitters for a project based in Chichester. This is a long-term contract (minimum 16 weeks) with urgent starts available, offering consistent hours and competitive pay.
Job Description
- Carry out general mechanical fitting duties to support the installation of a new paint shop, including assembling and installing equipment, aligning and securing mechanical components, reading engineering drawings, and ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm (10 hours paid)
- Saturday: 7:00am - Finish (10 hours paid)
Pay
£26.00 per hour
Requirements
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- Previous mechanical fitting experience
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
Desirable (Not Essential)
- IPAF / MEWP licence
- FLT (Forklift) licence
