We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased) to join a well-established food manufacturing business. This is a day shift position within a fast-paced FMCG production environment, supporting high-speed automated lines and ensuring minimal downtime across site.
The Role
- Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance across production lines
- Electrical fault finding on PLC-controlled machinery
- Support mechanical maintenance where required
- Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure all work is completed in line with food safety and H&S standards
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience within food manufacturing or FMCG (essential)
- Electrically biased with strong fault-finding capability
- PLC fault-finding experience (Siemens / Allen Bradley / Omron advantageous)
- Experience with drives, motors, inverters, sensors and control systems
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent in Engineering
- Able to work effectively in a high-volume production environment
