Rulertech are currently recruiting up to 2 Semi-Skilled Mechanical Operatives / Fitter’s Mates for a long-term project at the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars site in Chichester.
Role OverviewWorking alongside Mechanical Fitters, you will assist with general mechanical fitting duties on the installation of a new paint shop. Duties will include supporting installation works, handling materials, and assisting with fitting and alignment of mechanical components.
Key Duties- Assisting Mechanical Fitters with day-to-day installation tasks
- Supporting general mechanical fitting works
- Moving and positioning materials and equipment
- Using basic hand and power tools
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm (10 hours paid)
- Saturday: 7:00am – Finish (10 hours paid)
- On occasion, paid hours may increase up to 12 hours
- £22.00 – £23.00 per hour
- CIS / Ltd payment available
- Long hours and consistent work
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- Previous experience in a construction or mechanical environment
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- IPAF / MEWP licence
- FLT (Forklift) licence
- Minimum 16-week contract
- Immediate starts available
- Up to 2 positions available
