Construction Administrator
We're looking for an experienced Construction Administrator to join a busy site team working on a major M40 Bridge Repairs Project.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a long-term infrastructure project, supporting the site management team with day-to-day administration and project coordination.
The role will initially be full-time on site, with the opportunity to move to a hybrid working arrangement (3-4 days on site) once the project is fully established.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing site administration and project documentation.
- Raising purchase orders and processing orders for materials and services.
- Maintaining accurate records for the accounts team.
- Updating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and project trackers.
- Preparing and maintaining Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Filing and controlling site documentation.
- Supporting the wider project team with general administrative duties.
Requirements
- Previous administration experience within the construction or civil engineering industry is essential.
- Experience placing purchase orders and maintaining financial records.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
- Experience preparing and maintaining ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans).
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator who can work effectively with site teams, suppliers and office staff.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
