Your mission

Compliance teams in banks and insurers lose millions to regulatory drift, manual rule reconciliation, and audit risk, because the rules they live by sit in dense text no system can read. At Rulemapping, we turn that regulation into machine-readable logic. You are our first UK hire, and your outreach is how we enter Financial Services. Working side by side with the Country Manager, you turn a greenfield market into real pipeline and you shape how we position the product as you learn what resonates. This is a craft role: prospecting done exceptionally well is the heart of it. Master that, and the path into Discovery and closing conversations opens within six to twelve months.
Your responsibilities
  • Research and identify target accounts across UK Financial Services (banks, insurance, asset and wealth management, payments) and build focused prospect lists.
  • Run personalised outbound touches across email, LinkedIn, and phone, tailoring the angle to each prospect rather than sending a template.
  • Convert outreach into booked intro calls, then co-run those calls with the Country Manager: frame what Rulemapping does, map it to a concrete use case, and probe for genuine pain.
  • Hold your own under sceptical questions about the product, explaining in plain terms why Rulemapping is deterministic rather than another tool that hallucinates, and knowing where your depth ends.
  • Advance strong intro calls into Discovery, supporting the Country Manager's deeper qualification and learning the craft of diagnosis first-hand.
  • Spot recurring objections and use-case patterns across calls, bring them to the weekly debrief with evidence, and keep Pipedrive accurate so the funnel reflects reality, not optimism.

Your profile

  • Proven outbound prospecting fundamentals across cold email, LinkedIn, and phone, with a track record on dial volume, response rates, or meetings booked
  • You ask diagnostic questions before you pitch. You listen more than you talk, and you find the prospect's real problem rather than reaching for features.
  • Genuine curiosity about the product: you want to understand why Rulemapping matters and how it works, not just the elevator pitch.
  • Organised and disciplined in your CRM hygiene, follow-up tracking, and written communication.
  • Fluent English (C2)
