The Role - Trainee Recruitment Consultant

  • Cold calling - potential clients and candidates, whilst also dealing with the rejection that can take place as a result of this
  • Guiding candidates through the process - offering advice and support on different stages of the process whilst also being responsible for any negotiations that may subsequently take place
  • Attending client meetings - visiting clients' offices to gain a greater understanding of the certain characteristics they are after in their new hires
  • Researching your sector in depth - Constantly undergoing further research in the particular sector to make sure you stay up to date with any new developments that occur
