The Company: Our client is a financial recruitment firm that is looking to hire 3 fresh faces for their private equity desk. You will be building relationships with some of the top dogs in the finance space, consulting on their hiring and mapping their market to give the best insights into their competitors. Their top billers are doing over £1.2m and taking home a chunky sum of this due to their generous commission structure going up to 40%. They are looking for hard-working, polished and articulate individuals to take on their workload so that they can begin their recruitment journey in this lucrative market.
The Role:
- Mapping your market thoroughly so that you can advise and consult clients on hiring and what their competitors are doing.
- Doing your own business development as a 360 recruiter, meaning you are sourcing clients and convincing them you are an expert in your field.
- Signing terms with the client and then sourcing the candidates.
- Source candidates via headhunting, cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, advertising and using your network.
- Take the candidates through the interview process, prepping them and giving tips along the way.
- Secure them an offer and make a successful placement to gain your well-earned commission!
The Incentives of the Role:
- £28k base salary with a 40% commission structure.
- Promotion target within 6 months, then which your base increases to £30k OTE Year 1 of £50k.
- Work from home offered 1-2 days a week once promoted and hitting targets.
- Classroom training with the other new starters that joined with you.
- Mentored with hands-on training from the top billers who will guide you throughout.
- 28 days paid holiday + birthday.

- You don't need any specific qualifications to begin a career in recruitment, however clients like to see certain achievements and personality traits that prove you will be good at the role.
- Hard-working and willing to put in all their efforts to bring in revenue and take-home lots of commission.
- Competitive streak - this can be demonstrated through a sporting background or life experience.
- An approachable person that can speak to both junior and senior level professionals and adapt accordingly.
- Ideally some kind of sales experience or client facing work.
- Preferably educated with a 2:1 or above from a well-known university.
