Job Description
Senior Consultant A client of mine is looking to add someone with experience recruiting within the commodities sector. They are looking to add someone to the oil team, but are open to applications with experience across any type of commodities. – Senior Consultant Company – Senior Consultant A boutique, high-performing agency, focused mostly on investment, hedge funds and other financial services.
Currently 30 heads Average billings of £600k across the business Top biller hit £1.3mil Very slick, mature business, based in London Bridge Role – Senior Consultant Starting off in a purely delivery-focused role, with the option to take up business development training Focused on oil, but with the support of the rest of the commodities team Involving building and maintaining candidate relationships – Deal cycles can be long in this industry! Managing client’s needs and expectations Outreach to bring new candidates into your database The Ideal Candidate – Senior Consultant Ideally someone with 2 years of commodities recruitment experience (Less is fine if you can evidence results) Knowledge and interest in the market Articulate – You will need to be able to present and negotiate with senior people within the finance Long-term planner. Must be able to maintain relationships with passive candidates ‘A good person’ – The general rule of thumb for these guys is that they won’t hire anyone that they couldn’t socialise with outside of work.
They are flexible on the base but tend to pay around £35k for someone with a year’s experience. They pay uncapped commissions up to 40%, on a sliding scale without a threshold.
