The Opportunity:

We are exclusively partnered with a specialist executive search firm that is scaling from 15 to 20 consultants due to sustained client demand. The firm works on retained mandates across Financial Services, partnering with leading institutions and high-growth firms to appoint senior and hard-to-find talent.

You will work alongside some of the most successful consultants in the industry, each generating Β£1m+ in annual revenue, gaining exposure to best-in-class search methodologies from day one. From the outset, you will receive direct, hands-on mentorship from the founding directors, who bring 50 years of combined executive search experience. Their approach is deeply research-led and advisory-focused, ensuring you develop the technical credibility and commercial awareness required to operate confidently with senior stakeholders.

Your Impact:

As an Executive Search Consultant, you will play a critical role in delivering complex, high-value search assignments across the UK, Europe, and the USA. Over time, you will become a trusted advisor to clients and candidates alike, with a clear pathway to progression within the firm.

The Role:

  • Market Research & Insight: Conduct in-depth research into Financial Services sub-sectors, analysing industry trends, hiring patterns, competitor movements, and regulatory influences to support client strategy.
  • Market Mapping & Talent Intelligence: Build detailed market maps identifying key organisations, leadership structures, and high-calibre talent pools, forming the foundation of every search assignment.
  • Candidate Identification & Engagement: Proactively source and approach senior-level professionals using a combination of proprietary databases, LinkedIn, referrals, and direct headhunting techniques.
  • Client Delivery & Reporting: Produce high-quality written reports, candidate profiles, and shortlists, providing clients with clear, data-driven insights and regular progress updates throughout the search process.
  • Relationship Building: Develop long-term relationships with candidates and clients, positioning yourself as a credible market expert within your chosen Financial Services niche.
