The Role
As an Executive Researcher, you'll support the successful delivery of senior-level search assignments while developing specialist market expertise. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting detailed market research to identify target companies and senior leadership talent
- Producing comprehensive talent maps and competitor analysis across key sectors
- Building relationships with executive-level candidates through direct outreach and networking
- Supporting consultants with search strategy, client briefings and market insights
- Carrying out candidate interviews and assessing experience against client requirements
- Preparing high-quality reports, candidate profiles and market intelligence documents
- Maintaining accurate project data and managing search activity through the CRM system
- Monitoring industry developments and leadership movements to provide valuable market insight
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for individuals who combine strong academic achievement with commercial awareness and genuine curiosity. You'll ideally have:
- A minimum of ABB at A-Level (or equivalent qualifications)
- A degree from a leading UK university
- Previous internship, placement or commercial experience (preferred but not essential)
- A genuine interest in executive search, consulting or professional services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
- Confidence engaging with senior professionals and building lasting relationships
