We are looking for experienced and motivated
Fire Door Remedial Engineers to join our operational team.
This is an important role within the business, responsible for completing high-quality remedial works to fire doors and ensuring that buildings remain compliant and safe.

The Role
As a Fire Door Remedial Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out remedial and maintenance works to fire doors following inspection and survey findings.
You will work across a range of commercial, residential, public-sector and other premises, ensuring all works are completed safely, professionally and to the required specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out remedial works to fire doors identified during inspections.
- Repair, adjust and replace fire door components where required.

- Drop-down seals
- Other fire door components.
- Carry out minor joinery repairs and adjustments to fire doors and frames.
- Ensure remedial works are completed in accordance with the relevant specification and manufacturer's requirements.
- Identify any additional defects or issues and report these through the appropriate process.
- Take clear photographic evidence of completed works.
- Complete all job sheets, reports and system updates accurately.
- Use company systems, including

- Follow company process maps and agreed operational procedures.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
- Liaise professionally with customers and site representatives.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company health & safety procedures.
- Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles to an appropriate standard.
- Work efficiently to meet agreed productivity and completion targets.
- Escalate any technical, quality or safety concerns to your Supervisor or Service Delivery Manager.
- Fire Door & Fire Stopping Experience
Previous experience working with fire doors is essential .
Experience in fire stopping and passive fire protection would be highly desirable and may provide opportunities to undertake a broader range of compliance works as your experience develops.
