We are looking for versatile, resilient and committed Teaching Assistants who can adapt their practice wherever necessary to support across all key stages. The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher, assisting children with their work and supporting pupil behaviour while establishing good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and responding to individual needs.

Key Details

This role is based on working 39 weeks per year (38 weeks plus one week of training) and follows Staffordshire County Council term dates.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Versatile, resilient and committed.
  • Willing to undergo safeguarding screening appropriate to the post, including Disclosure & Barring Service checks.
  • Provide at least 2 references covering the last 3 years, preferably from work with children or vulnerable adults.
