We’re on the lookout for dynamic individuals, with experience working with children, that can allow our Rugbytots to have fun and grow in confidence during their time with us. Think children's TV presenter rather than the next coach of the national team (we can teach the rugby side of things, we just need you to be outgoing and great with children!

Rugbytots offer fun, structured play sessions for children aged 2 to 7 years old. Our coaches deliver sessions with energy, enthusiasm and excitement, to create an atmosphere that is unique and engaging for children and parents alike. We do this by delivering our specifically designed programme for each age group in a fun, dramatic and entertaining way, taking the children on a journey of sporting imagination, whilst teaching them how to catch, pass, kick and run with the ball and play as part of a team.

Working hours: Saturday mornings

Location: Ridgeway Academy, Welwyn, AL7 2AF

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate and engage with the children in your classes
  • Work through the Rugbytots programme of games and tasks, to teach the basic core skills used in rugby in a fun and structured environment
  • Demonstrate games and skills with enthusiasm and energy, and provide positive feedback to the children
  • Ensure classes start and finish on time, and engage with parents

What we offer:

  • Competitive rates of pay (£11 and £17.50 per hour depending on experience and role)

Please note that a DBS check will need to be completed for successful applicants (paid for by Rugbytots).
