Reporting to the Estates Manager, and with day-to-day supervision and assistance from the Maintenance Lead, the Maintenance Assistant is responsible for the provision of maintenance at the school as part of a team and for maintaining and promoting a safe working environment.

The role will have a particular focus on painting work, both inside and outside, and as well as gutter and roof clearance, including Work at Height. Full training and all equipment will be provided.

The Maintenance Assistant will be required to help in the grounds on occasion, be an active and supportive member of the whole of the Estates Team including grounds staff, and help with some furniture moving and set up for school events.

We are seeking a colleague who shares our vision and who will seize an exciting opportunity to work as a part of our Estates Team.

Beaudesert Park School, part of the Rugby School Group, is set in 30 acres on Minchinhampton Common, Gloucestershire. It is one of the county's leading independent co-educational day & flexi boarding schools for children aged 3 to 13.

Hours: 40 hours per week

Working Pattern: 8:00am to 4:30pm with half an hour unpaid lunch break. Limited Saturday morning work on a rota in term time only, with time given back in lieu

Hourly Rate: up to Β£13.82 per hour, dependent on experience
