Part Time chef must be able to work weekends. We are looking for a confident and reliable part-time chef to work on a part-time basis. The position requires flexibility as the working hours are dependent on events and clubhouse opening times. Holiday cover in the year is also required.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the kitchen in the absence of the Catering Manager.
- Cooking to order - producing high quality hot & cold food for customers from a varied menu, in a timely and logical manner.
- Using fresh produce to craft high quality meals for events.
- Adherence to food safety regulations.
- Maintaining inventory supplies and ingredients - placing orders as necessary.
- Working as part of a small team collaborating with the front of house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Skills required:
- Proven experience in a small professional kitchen environment.
- Able to cook for 40 covers.
- Able to work independently and under pressure whilst maintaining high quality standards.
Experience:
- 2 years cooking experience desired.
