The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We need an exceptional and dynamic planner to lead our growth agenda. Rugby is one of the fastest growing towns in the country, set to grow by 30% by 2035. You will play a key part in the growth of Rugby Borough with large developments in two sustainable urban extensions, high‑quality employment and technology sites such as Ansty Park and the regeneration of Rugby Town Centre. The workload varies across major schemes and the unspoilt Warwickshire countryside, Green Belt and heritage work preserving the birthplace of Rugby.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic development advice
  • Shaping growth policy
  • Evaluating development proposals
  • Cooperating with stakeholders
  • Supervising team members
  • Supporting the planning team’s operational efficiency

You may also work from home for part of the week.

About you:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification
  • Significant experience in development management
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills
  • A driving licence and access to a car for business use are required
