About the role

This is an important and highly visible front-line role representing the Council on a daily basis to all Borough users and residents whilst ensuring that the highest standards of waste and recycling collections are met at all times. Duties include ensuring all waste streams, including Trade Waste, are collected and disposed of in line with service objectives. You will also be doing street sweeping operations as needed.

About you

You’ll need a Valid Category-C large goods vehicle licence (suitable to drive waste collection vehicles up to 32 tonnes) and hold a Driver CPC qualification, valid DCQ card and tachograph card and be able to pass a driver’s medical examination.
