About the role
This is a great opportunity to be part of a team working on the Healthy Lifestyle Programme commissioned by Compass and Warwickshire County Council. This programme aims to support families to lead a healthier lifestyle in various ways including the provision of evidence-based structured 7-week family-based workshops, parent/carer workshops and 1-1s promoting the benefits of exercise and nutrition. The age ranges include primary and secondary school aged children between 4 & 19 years. The Family Lifestyle Advisor will be employed by Rugby Borough Council but will be working across Stratford and Warwick with some countrywide travel and will work in schools and leisure centres to deliver interactive sessions and promote active recreation and healthy lifestyles.
About you
You will need experience of working in a health or leisure environment promoting participation in sport and healthy lifestyles and have a strong track record of partnership working. You need to be an enthusiastic self-starter who can relate well to both children and adults.
