Environmental Health Officers and qualified Environmental Protection Officers will also be expected to deputise and support the management functions of the Environmental Health Team Leader.

About you

We are looking for a highly motivated professional (an Environmental Protection Officer or an Environmental Health Officer), who is skilled in the effective use of our powers under environmental protection, food safety and health and safety at work legislation.

Our outgoing officer brought valuable expertise in air quality, contaminated land and wider Environmental Health functions (including planning, licensing and LAPPC permits), and while we would ideally recruit a similarly qualified EHO, we appreciate the current market challenges. As such we’re also keen to hear from recent Environmental Health Graduates or EPOs who are working towards full EHP registration. If you’re passionate about environmental protection and keen to grow your career in a supportive and forward-thinking team, we’d love to hear from you.
