This isn\'t just about processing data its about providing a vital lifeline to low-income households, ensuring they have the financial support needed to pay their rent and council tax.

  • Provide Expert Guidance: Interview residents to understand their financial needs and offer tailored advice on benefit entitlements.
  • Administer Essential Support: Manage Discretionary Housing Payments and other local schemes that prevent homelessness and financial crisis.

About You

We need someone who can handle complex legislation without losing their human touch. To succeed, you will need:

  • Expertise: A solid understanding of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction legislation and the Civica Revenues and Benefits IT system.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to explain complicated financial issues clearly and with empathy, whether face‑to‑face, over the phone, or via video.
  • Resilience: The capacity to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining professional boundaries.
