About the role

The Rugby Town is seeking a dynamic Assistant Event Officer to support the delivery of a growing town centre event programme. This is at a pivotal moment for the Rugby Town brand, as it implements Rugby’s new place brand and assumes responsibility for an expanded programme of town centre events from April 2026.

The Assistant Event Officer will provide administrative and organisational support to the Event and Marketing Officer for the planning, delivery and promotion of council managed events within the town of Rugby. You’ll help the Event and Marketing Officer successfully deliver an overall town centre event and marketing strategy. This role is pivotal to the delivery of an expanded programme of town centre events and the successful roll out of Rugby’s place brand.
