This leading National Developer is looking for a Project Manager to work on a £60m mixed-use redevelopment of an old office block in Guildford comprising 366 student beds, of which there are 105 studios and 261 en-suite rooms as well as over 684 square metres of flexible ground‑floor commercial space for local businesses or flexible working.
As Construction Project Manager, you will oversee the management and coordination of site operations, subcontractors, consultants, and key stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
You will need to have the experience of running developments but don’t need to be involved too much in the pre planning stages as this is what the Construction Director and Development teams are responsible for.
The ideal candidate would have been working in a site-based role, starting initially from a trade background, and have worked from Site Manager to Senior Site Manager then looking for the next step up.
You need to have worked on high rise developments where most areas will be the same shape and size for example bedrooms/communal spaces etc, meaning you could come from a hotel background.
You will hold an NVQ Level 4, HND, or a related discipline, together with a valid SMSTS qualification and CSCS card.
