Senior Quantity Surveyor / Associate – Highways & Infrastructure Hybrid / Bedford (3 days on site) | £ Depending on level, plus package
Senior Quantity Surveyors & Associate Quantity Surveyors are required by a strategic delivery partner on one of the UK's major development programmes. You’ll take a leading commercial role on the Roads & Bridges package — a core enabling package for the wider programme, covering cost planning, estimating, procurement, commercial management, NEC contract administration and handover.
For infrastructure professionals in the Bedford / Milton Keynes / Northampton corridor, it’s a rare chance to work on a programme of this scale without the London commute.
You’ll need:
- Proven cost management / quantity surveying experience on complex, multi-stakeholder programmes within roads, highways, bridges or major civil infrastructure projects
- Experience of working across statutory authority, utility, rail and highways interfaces
Highly desirable:
- NEC contract administration — early warnings, compensation events, payment assessment and change management
- Working knowledge of UK highways and infrastructure delivery, including DMRB and local authority highways and bridge design/delivery processes
