Role Overview
Deputy Manager at Rudy's Pizza, Cambridge. Salary: £36,200 per annum (including tips & tronc monthly and up to 32% bonus paid quarterly). Full‑time contract.
Responsibilities
- Drive performance across front‑of‑house and kitchen in close partnership with the GM.
- Lead the management and floor team.
- Own the guest experience at a restaurant level – from service delivery to in‑the‑moment resolution.
- Manage shift labour, scheduling and day‑to‑day cost control.
- Support talent development – identify, coach and actively progress the team.
- Oversee full compliance: food safety and operational standards.
- Contribute to financial performance, reporting and target delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience at Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager level in a hospitality environment.
- A confident, credible leader.
- Ability to inspire and manage a large, diverse team.
- Strong operational knowledge.
- Composure and sound judgement when the pressure is highest.
- Looking to develop into a General Manager with the support of progression.
