Deputy Manager at Rudys is a high-trust, high-impact role. You’ll operate as the General Manager's right hand, leading shifts, overseeing the entire team, and ensuring the restaurant performs to the highest standard whether the GM is present or not. This is the final step before General Management.

Founded in Manchester in 2015, Rudys Neapolitan Pizzeria has grown to 39 sites across the UK on the strength of one core belief: that authentic Neapolitan pizza, made with the finest Italian ingredients and served by people who genuinely care, is worth doing properly. Fresh dough daily, 60-second pizzas, a culture that puts people first - that's the Rudys way.

What you'll be doing:

  • Driving performance across front-of-house and kitchen in close partnership with the GM
  • Leading the management and floor team
  • Owning the guest experience at a restaurant level - from service delivery to in-the-moment resolution
  • Managing shift labour, scheduling, and day-to-day cost control
  • Supporting talent development - identifying, coaching, and actively progressing the team
  • Overseeing full compliance: food safety and operational standards
  • Contributing to financial performance, reporting, and target delivery

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience at Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager level in a hospitality environment
  • A confident, credible leader
  • The ability to inspire and manage a large, diverse team
  • Strong operational knowledge
  • Composure and sound judgement when the pressure is highest
  • Looking to develop into a General Manager with the support of progression

The Good stuff:

  • Worldwide pizza trips - Naples, New York, and wherever comes next
  • 50% discount across all Mission Mars venues - for you, friends & family
  • Up to 32% bonus per year, paid quarterly
  • Free guestlist entry to Albert Hall, Manchester
  • Complimentary food & drink after every shift
  • Real progression opportunities across a growing business
  • Industry-leading training & development programmes
  • Festa di Natale & Barbecue Estivo invitations every year
  • Birthday card & gift - we celebrate our people properly
  • Work for a "World Class" business, as voted by Best Companies 2024
