About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Preconstruction Assistant to join our team and support the delivery of preconstruction activities across high-profile fit-out and joinery projects. The role involves working closely with the Project Manager and wider teams including design, estimation and QS’s to coordinate and manage key project inputs before construction starts.
The position offers exposure to multiple aspects of project delivery and provides an excellent development pathway into preconstruction, construction and project management roles within the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery team in managing preconstruction activities across projects.
- Assist coordination between different departments to ensure smooth project preparation.
- Track and manage key preconstruction deliverables and project information.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and trackers.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely information flow.
- Identify potential gaps or risks during preconstruction stages and support in resolving them.
- Review drawings and provide comments to highlight potential constructability issues; value engineering opportunities; and accurate scope of work. Spearhead any corrections/changes needed.
