We are looking for a Meeting and Events Duty Manager who will work with the Meeting and Events team to ensure every guest enjoys exceptional service from arrival to departure. You will be required to understand and be able to run shifts and events where necessary. You will be an encouraging and passionate team member focused on providing personalised, memorable experiences and ensuring Rudding Park continues to offer the highest standards of event delivery and guest care. Displaying strong teamwork and a passion for hospitality is the measure of success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent guest service and care. Lead by example to ensure meetings and events team members deliver the care for our guests that Rudding Park is known for
- Understand and be able to run shifts and events where necessary
- Ensure all guests are greeted properly for all functions and the event is run in accordance with Rudding Park standards
- Support the management team with ongoing training of team members
- Ensure the meeting and events department is opened and closed each day following all set procedures
- Maintain professional communication within the management team through a clear handover process and following all set operating procedures
- Complete all relevant shift reports, correct use of systems where applicable and demonstrate how to close the shift correctly in terms of billing all events
- Supervise groups of staff within the Meeting and Events team, allocating roles in the Manager and Deputy Managers’ absence
In return for your hard work and commitment we offer:
- Enhanced pay - 50p per hour for evening work after 7pm (Sunday - Thursday), £1 per hour for weekend day work until 7pm (Saturdays and Sundays), £1.50 per hour for evenings from 7pm (Friday and Saturdays)
- Service Charge (Tronc) earn up to an additional £5,000 per year
- Company sick pay for up to 4 weeks
