The London office of Europe’s leading public affairs consultancy is growing and looking for Research Executives to join our team! As a Research Executive at Rud Pedersen, you will act as the eyes and ears for both our clients and colleagues. You will need to be able to juggle multiple tasks and stay on top of business, government and current affairs in politics, social media and news outlets.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily media monitoring and political intelligence gathering, analysis and research, to be provided as high quality reports.
  • Preparing briefing notes for clients.
  • Leading on content creation, taking responsibility for first drafts of client, media, or political-facing content, as well as social media posts and press releases.
  • Ensuring you have a deep understanding of our clients.
  • Working collaboratively with other team members, and attending client meetings where appropriate.
  • Working on multiple client accounts at the same time.
  • Taking the initiative to build your political and media networks.
  • Creating content for our own marketing and social media.
  • Supporting senior members of the team with media and political engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Degree level qualification.
  • Be immersed in politics, with a keen interest in the news, current affairs and media.
  • The ability to communicate in flawless English, both oral and written.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft applications, particularly PowerPoint and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail, and the ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • A desire to work within a collaborative team environment.

Nice to haves:

  • Speaking at least one other European language fluently.
  • Prior work experience in London’s vibrant public affairs sector.
  • Experience using monitoring and research tools.
