rucomfy is a family run business based in the heart of Lancashire and for over 40 years we have been lovingly designing and manufacturing beanbags for thousands of homes and businesses all over the UK. Every product we sell is designed, manufactured and shipped from our location in Lancashire! We currently sell across 10+ channels, boasting some of the biggest UK retailers as some of our customers and top the SERPs of some of the biggest marketplaces around. We need a skilled member of staff to help us consolidate our current position and help with scope for future growth!
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Marketing & Design Administrator to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to play a crucial support role within our marketing and design department, contributing to a wide range of administrative, coordination, and creative tasks. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our marketing initiatives, supporting both the administrative backbone and the creative output of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and executing marketing projects and campaigns across all channels, using tools like Trello to track progress and deadlines.
- Support the creation and distribution of email and social media content, including scheduling, monitoring, and basic reporting.
- Coordinate logistics for marketing events and manage branded orders, ensuring brand guideline adherence.
- Handle general administrative duties such as data entry, report generation, maintaining databases, and preparing presentations.
- Conduct trend research to inform design and content strategies and manage influencer contracts and orders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly, proofread meticulously, and maintain professional correspondence.
- Knowledge of Google Work Space: Sheets, Docs, Drive, Slides, and Forms for administrative tasks, reporting, and presentations.
- Comfortable navigating and utilising various digital platforms and tools, including social media platforms, email marketing software, and content management systems (CMS).
- Meticulous and thorough, with a keen eye for accuracy in all administrative and creative outputs.
- Ability to take initiative, work independently, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively within a team and liaising with various stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and find practical solutions to challenges.
- An understanding of visual aesthetics and a willingness to learn and assist with basic design tasks (e.g., image resizing, minor editing).
- Familiarity with platforms like Trello, Asana, or similar.
- Knowledge of Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar.
- Experience with scheduling and analytics tools for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
- Experience with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar for image manipulation and optimisation.
- Experience in a fast-paced office environment, ideally within a marketing, creative, or administrative support role.
- A basic understanding of marketing principles and how administrative tasks contribute to business objectives.
