RWE Generation UK is offering a full-time, fixed-term placement (13 months) starting on 28th June 2027. This opportunity is within our Operations and Maintenance group, focusing on Pembroke Power Station, one of the largest and most efficient combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power stations in Europe.
About the role:
- Be responsible for monitoring the water/steam cycle and take investigative action where necessary.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of environmental permits and undertake the monitoring required to maintain environmentally sustainable energy production.
- Engage in personal projects which will drive continual improvement.
- Participate in courses, workshops, and on-the-job training to support your growth.
- Collaborate with other departments, including participating in shift work with our operations team.
Job requirements and experience:
Ideally, you are pursuing a degree in Chemical and/or Environmental Engineering and have an interest in the energy sector. Your degree should include an industrial placement year to meet the requirements for this role.
