Up to £40k. London office three days a week, two days remote. Our client, a leading company within the interior design and architecture sector, is looking for a Marketing Communications Executive to shape and lead their content and communications strategy. You must come from an interiors or architecture background and have a strong creative flair. The role is a content and social role, so being a strong writer with experience of running social media is key. This is a role for someone hungry, ambitious, and looking to grow within a supportive team.

What You’ll Be Doing

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Communications Executive to build our client's communications and content strategy. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand narrative through compelling written materials. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for design, and a proven track record of executing successful marketing campaigns. You will need B2B interiors or architecture marketing experience. You will appreciate and understand the design, architectural, and building sectors, and be confident in leading with well-crafted written case studies, blogs, social media, e-campaigns, and other business-related communications and internal communications. You'll also be capturing the human side of the brand through content focused on people, community, and events.

Content-driven campaigns will be at the core of your role, enabling the business to drive stronger engagement, generate leads, and create new opportunities with measurable impact. You will report to the Group Marketing Manager and work closely with them to shape and execute the content strategy. You’ll put content at the heart of the business by developing and executing it across the web, sales enablement tools like case studies, social media, PR, and events. You’ll also help host events, meetings, and seminars while helping to drive the creative direction of these activities alongside the Creative and Marketing leads.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop an integrated content strategy to tell the brand story, generate new leads, increase brand awareness, and improve customer engagement.
  • Generate ideas for content topics and campaigns to maximise reach and impact.
  • Create, curate, adapt, and manage high-quality written content, including articles, blogs, website copy, presentations, case studies, event assets, press materials, and social media posts.
  • Ensure all content is aligned with brand tone and messaging, internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with sales teams and external partners to research and develop content stories and case studies.
  • Produce content that resonates with target audiences across every stage of the sales cycle.
  • Report on content performance, KPIs, and ROI, using insights to optimise engagement and conversions.
  • Work with the Group Marketing Manager to conceptualise and deliver design events throughout the year, including Clerkenwell Design Week.

Skills & Experience

  • Skilled communicator with experience writing both short and long-form copy across multiple channels.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing a communications plan.
  • Broad marketing communications experience, including content creation, campaign execution, and brand messaging.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, working with internal teams, external partners, and industry peers.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Articulate, confident, proactive, and able to engage audiences effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Experience within the design, architecture, or building sectors is essential.
  • Passion for storytelling and brand building.
  • Event experience, from planning through to delivery.
