Ruby Group are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a commercial real estate business located in central London. This is a newly created role reporting into the Financial Controller. Your responsibilities will be, to take full ownership of the Accounts Payable ledger and Accounts Receivable, monitoring Accounts payable Inbox, reconciling statements, dealing with, and resolving supplier queries. Credit Control by telephone letter an email. Weekly payment runs. Maintain and reconciling journals, expense accounts and balance sheet reconciliations. Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts including variance analysis. Assisting with month end, including accruals, prepayments and profit and loss review. Assisting with year end audit and VAT returns. The ideal applicant will be working towards a professional qualification in either ACCA, CIMA or AAT. You must have produced accounts up to trial balance, raised and reconciled nominal ledger journals. Excellent communications skills and the ability to work to deadlines is essential.
