We’re looking for a Pricing Manager to lead and optimise our pricing strategy for electricity and gas products across SME and B2B segments. Reporting to the Growth and Revenue Director, you’ll use data‑driven insights and market intelligence to deliver competitive, compliant, and profitable pricing strategies. Working closely with teams across Trading, Finance, Regulation, and Sales, you’ll play a key role in driving commercial performance and supporting business growth.
Important: This position is onsite in Fleetwood Lancashire. Remote or hybrid working options are not available. Candidates must be able to commute to the location.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop, implement, and manage pricing strategies for SME and B2B energy portfolios.
- Monitor market conditions, competitor pricing, and Ofgem regulations to ensure agility and compliance.
- Collaborate with the Head of Trading to build and refine cost stacks (DUoS, TNUoS, CfD, RO, FiT, etc.) and perform price forecasts, sensitivity, and scenario analyses.
- Use analytical tools (Excel, Power BI, Python, VBA) to model data, trends, and pricing impacts.
- Partner with Commercial Finance to evaluate profitability, margins, and risk exposure.
- Support tenders, bespoke pricing, and product development to ensure competitive and sustainable offers.
- Align pricing decisions with overall growth and revenue targets.
- Work cross‑functionally with Finance, Risk, Procurement, and Regulatory teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Regulatory Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all pricing practices comply with Ofgem and other relevant frameworks (Price Cap, REMA, PPM).
- Collaborate with the Head of Regulations and Compliance on submissions and governance documentation.
- Maintain transparency and consistency in pricing models and methodologies.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and IT to optimise systems, campaigns, and customer propositions.
- Present pricing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Mentor and develop junior analysts, fostering a culture of analytical excellence and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong understanding of the UK energy market, including wholesale, retail, and regulatory environments.
- Proven ability to balance profitability, competitiveness, and compliance.
- Advanced skills in Excel and experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, or VBA.
- Familiarity with pricing or billing systems such as ESG Titanium, Provista, Phidex, or Microsoft Fabric.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of renewable and net‑zero pricing models is an advantage.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 3+ years’ experience in pricing, commercial analysis, or energy market roles.
- Proven track record in developing and managing pricing strategies in the UK electricity and gas sector.
- Experience with SME pricing, flexible contracts, or PPAs preferred.
