About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide high level support to our Board of Directors and Shareholders.
This is not a traditional one-to-one Personal Assistant role.
Instead, you will act as the central point of coordination for our Board, supporting multiple directors and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of executive administration, board meetings and governance activities across our group of businesses.
You'll be someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment, thrives on organisation and takes pride in ensuring every detail is managed professionally.
You'll work closely with senior leaders, building trusted relationships while handling confidential information with discretion and confidence.
This is a varied and rewarding position where no two days are the same.
You'll play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making by ensuring the Board has the information, coordination and administrative support it needs to operate effectively.
What You'll Be Doing
As Executive Assistant to the Board, you'll
- Provide proactive executive support to the Board of Directors and Shareholders, helping manage priorities and ensuring time is used effectively.
- Manage multiple complex diaries, coordinating meetings, appointments and travel arrangements while responding to changing priorities.
- Organise Board and Executive meetings, including scheduling, venues, technology, catering and all associated logistics.
- Prepare professional Board packs, agendas, reports, presentations and supporting documentation to a consistently high standard.
- Attend Board and Executive meetings, taking accurate minutes, recording decisions and maintaining action logs.
- Monitor actions arising from meetings, following up with stakeholders to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Draft and prepare correspondence, reports and presentations on behalf of the Board.
- Act as a key point of contact between Directors, Shareholders, senior managers and colleagues across the wider business.
- Maintain confidential Board records and ensure documentation is organised, accurate and securely managed.
- Support good corporate governance by maintaining records and assisting with governance processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, meeting efficiency and executive workflows.
- Provide additional executive support across the wider leadership team as business needs require
About You
We're looking for someone who is naturally organised, proactive and confident working with senior stakeholders.

Essential
- Previous experience in an Executive Assistant, Senior Personal Assistant or Board Support role.
- Experience supporting senior executives, Directors or leadership teams.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience coordinating complex diaries and executive schedules.
- Strong minute-taking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
- The ability to handle highly confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- A proactive approach with the confidence to work independently and anticipate the needs of senior leaders.
Desirable
- Experience supporting a Board of Directors.
- Knowledge of corporate governance or Board administration.
- Experience working within a group of companies or a multi-site organisation.
